Mr. Al-Samdan holds a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School (2015) and a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Denver (2003). He has also completed several professional programs in Strategic Financial Leadership, including courses at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Amsterdam Finance Institute.

Mr. Al-Samdan has served as the KFH Group Chief Financial Officer since 2025.In addition, Mr. Al-Samdan is a Board Member at Kuwait Finance House PLC. Over the course of his 22-year career with Ernst & Young (EY), where he held the position of Partner since 2014, he led numerous financial audit and strategic financial advisory engagements across a wide range of industries, including the banking sector, gaining extensive experience in the process. He also spearheaded multiple financial transformation projects focused on compliance with the Central Bank of Kuwait’s regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Basel III requirements, in addition to enhancing governance frameworks and improving internal control systems.
